Run development workloads closer to home

Rent a Mac in Singapore
Mac mini M4

A Cloud Mac workstation for developers in Southeast Asia. Get a dedicated physical machine, not a virtual machine. Build over SSH and use VNC to access the macOS desktop.

$20.2/day · 2 configurations · Daily / weekly / monthly / quarterly billing

Choose memory, then rental term

Two M4 configurations, each with a dedicated machine

Start with builds and regression tests for a single project, then choose a configuration based on parallel workloads, peak memory use, and project caches. CPU, memory, and storage are not shared with other customers. You get full access to both the macOS desktop and command line.

MetalBench 16

Ideal for building a single app, running simulator tests in sequence, or short development tasks you can wrap up in one go. Run a full test cycle and note peak memory use before deciding whether to increase concurrency.

MetalBench 24

Designed for projects with multiple targets, desktop debugging alongside builds, or workflows that need more room for dependencies and build caches. Choose your level of concurrency based on actual project usage.

For longer projects, compare monthly and quarterly billing. Budget storage separately for model files, dependency caches, and build artifacts; adding storage does not increase memory.

Budget for add-ons

Need more storage? Check the order page for +1TB SSD from $2.4/day and +2TB SSD from $4.8/day. Thunderbolt 5 daisy-chaining is priced per machine, from $1.1/day. Confirm the available options and full-period price before placing your order.

Check payment options

Pay in USD using USDT-TRC20 or Visa / Mastercard / Amex (via Stripe). Available payment gateways are determined by the backend. Check your order status in the console after payment.

Factor network quality into your choice

Consider latency and connection stability

Singapore provides remote development access for users in Southeast Asia. Distance is one factor to consider; your experience also depends on your local ISP, inter-network routing, packet loss, and available bandwidth.

Average latency estimate for Southeast Asia

20~50ms

This is a reference for regional network planning, not a live measurement of your connection or a guarantee for every route. No standardized sampling data is available, so this figure is not presented as a measured result or service guarantee.

Test the command line and desktop separately

With SSH, you mainly notice command response and log transfers. VNC also streams the desktop continuously. Even at the same round-trip latency, desktop responsiveness depends on resolution, screen activity, and bandwidth. A single latency figure does not tell the whole story.

Test your own workflow

After connecting for the first time, run a build over your usual network, follow the test logs, and check desktop input response. If the connection is unstable, try lowering the desktop resolution and color depth. Run long builds over SSH.

Physical nodes operate year-round, 365 days a year. Node operation and the quality of your local connection are separate factors. If only your current connection is affected, note both your local network conditions and when the issue occurred as you investigate.

Four steps to get started

From choosing a configuration to your first test run

Allow about 15 minutes for initial setup, connection, and basic checks. These estimates are for planning purposes, not a delivery-time guarantee. Payment confirmation and machine provisioning may take longer; check the console for updates.

  1. 01

    Choose a configuration

    About 2 minutes

Choose a plan, billing period, and node, then check whether you need extra storage. Note your project size, dependency caches, and expected concurrency so you can choose based on your workload, not just the starting price.

  2. 02

    Pay and wait for delivery

    About 3 minutes

Check the USD order total and payment gateway, then complete payment. Confirm payment and delivery status in the console. Closing the payment page does not mean your machine is ready; blockchain confirmation time is not included in this estimate.

  3. 03

    Get credentials and connect

    About 5 minutes

Once your machine is delivered, find its IP address, port, and connection credentials in the console. Start an SSH session and verify the host fingerprint. To use the desktop, connect with the VNC details shown on the machine page.

  4. 04

    Check your development environment

    About 5 minutes

Check toolchain versions, available storage, and network connectivity, then run your project's basic test suite. This estimate covers basic checks only; allow extra time for dependency downloads, full builds, and complete regression tests based on your project size.

Three things to check before ordering

Questions about this node

If I'm in Southeast Asia, should I choose Singapore?

Not necessarily. A nearby node is a good starting point, but office networks, home broadband, and team members may all take different routes. If you mainly submit long-running jobs over SSH, focus on connection stability and file transfers. If you use the VNC desktop every day, test input response and sustained screen quality first. The node name is no substitute for testing on the network you actually use.

How should I use the 20~50 ms estimate when connecting to Singapore?

Use it for an initial comparison, not as an acceptance threshold. Test round-trip latency, packet loss, and jitter on your usual network and at your usual times, then try transferring SSH logs and using the VNC desktop. ICMP may be affected by network policies. A single result does not represent a full day and cannot be directly converted into build time. When reporting an issue, include when it occurred, your network, connection method, and error details. Do not include passwords or private keys.

If my users are in Southeast Asia, does my build machine need to be in Singapore?

No. A build node primarily serves the needs of developer access, source code checkout, and artifact transfers. The location of your app's end users does not determine where your development machine must be. For automated pipelines, evaluate the paths used to transfer source code and build artifacts. For frequent desktop debugging, prioritize the network experience of the people using it. Assess your application and build environments separately.

Confirm your setup
before the first test run

Start by deciding on your workload and expected rental period. On the order page, check the node, billing period, add-ons, and final total before paying.
